May 17, 2018Great spot. We had to put a name and number down in order to get a spot at the bar, but they take reservations as well, we just didn't expect it to be that busy on a Wednesday night. Well worth the wait though. It's fun to sit and watch the bartenders expertly mix concoctions together from nondescript bottles that turn out to be an incredible cocktail at the end. The drinks will run you about $20-22 a piece by the end of it with tip, but there's a lot involved in the experience beyond just your drink. Fun time!May 31, 2018We came early, and we are glad we did. Definitely the most interesting ambiance in NYC, and the bartender staff is one of the most consistently excellent that I have ever encountered. They quickly and expertly mixed our cocktails off the unique menu, each with more than seven or so ingredients, and kept the service succinct and whip-sharp, letting the eclectic aura and atmosphere do most of the job charming us. We will definitely return, and we will come early next time, as well.May 29, 2018This is quite the place. Dark but yet soothing & comfortable, Death & co has a major theme of elegance for some a place so simple, therefore this bar is a must see. The backbar looking looks to be a chemistry lab where the bartenders mix wild concoctions to your liking, and everyone seems happy and excited to be here and they should since waiting to get In and when you might get in is such a mystery. Will definitely return here as soon as possible for some more of the infamous Zombie Punch.June 22, 2018The best service and cocktail combo I have ever experienced in NYC. The place feels sophisticated but at the same time the service is so laid back and friendly. Had a great evening here and looking forward to coming back. The drinks were also quite impressive, from the presentation all the way to the tatse.June 05, 2018This place is wonderful for dates if you are a well read, cultured person with a sharp wit and indelible sense of humor, but have the kind of face that scares children. After a few drinks, your date will be taken with you and will excuse your foul appearance. By this I mean it's dark af, there are no windows, and I swear I saw several people trip. It's almost comical. Apart from that, they make some delicious cocktails and the waitstaff are incredibly knowledgeable. The food is delicious too but best for snacks. Expect a wait, but expect it to be worth it.
